“ I'm here with my family soaking up the Aloha lifestyle and I found the sauce in a local shop. I instantly remembered the episode of DDD and bought the sauce. I had to do a double take when we were minutes from where we are staying and saw Mike's on the side of the road. The smoke on the chicken and pork is incredible and unlike anything I've had before. You can drink the sauce it's that good. The most well seasoned and moist chicken and pork I've ever had. It more than lived up to Guy Fieri's hype and I'm so grateful I got to experience this while on Oahu. ”
“ Ordered the chicken plate with kalua pork. The pork was fantastic!! It was soft and reminded me of a dish my grandma makes! The chicken was good as well, a smokey chicken flavor. It came with rice, and mac salad. All paired really well together. Service was decent. Order came out quickly. Some seating inside, covered by a roof. There's also cats roaming around, but they are harmless and look cute. ”
“ I feel terrible for anyone who had a bad experience here. Guy Fieri's Triple D's is what brought me here and I'm sure as hell happy it did. Did not disappoint in the slightest In a shack now (not roadside) and have a few spots to sit. Only 3 other people were there when we went $17 for the mixed platter. Portions and quality were awesome. If in the north side def make the drive !! ”
“ Got the char siu and chicken combo! Really quick service and the gentleman working was nice. Bbq sauce was light, vinegar based, and had some spice to it. A lot of food $17! Mac salad was good too and I'm not really a huge fan of most because they're too much mayonnaise. The char siu pork was a little dry but that's my only complaint! ”
“ I came here again just because we were in the area and have some requested items to send to the mainland. The wait was really long. I don't blame the cashier, I blame the customers on this as there was a group of tourists who could have ordered together but cchose to do so separately. After maybe 30 minutes wait, I got to the window and ordered my sauces. I helped aunty refilling the napkin dispenser while she got orders previous orders done. After that, she asked if I wanted a plate. She gave me one on the house! I was very grateful to her and it's one of the reasons we are loyal customers even if we drive an hour at least to eat here. ”
“ We're around the area and decided to drop by at Mike's Huli Chicken to buy some dipping sauce to share with our family and friends in the mainland. It's our absolute dipping sauce mostly for everything at home. We also got a plate of huli chicken with garlic shrimp. It came with 2 scoops of rice and a mac salad. The huli chicken was cooked well, juicy and perfect with Mike's dippin sauce. The garlic shrimp was just ok, it's garlicky and buttery, nothing really special, but it was good. The auntie who took the order was really nice and friendly. We always enjoy their food and love the people who work here. ”
“ This was our second visit, our first visit having been one trip ago back in '21. I think I got the same thing I did the last time we were here which is the Huli Chicken with macaroni and two scoops of rice. There's also a little side of Mike's sauce which was very good over the rice actually. There's a comfortable sitting area that is covered and we were lucky to have a nice little breeze come through. Several small adolescent kitties were on the watch for anything that might hit the ground by accident. The only bad thing was that the flies here are extremely persistent and very daring to land on anything even if it's for split second. But you're going to find outdoors anywhere here. All in all it was another great experience if I had to put one critique up it would be that the chicken was on the small side. ”

I ordered the huli chicken and char siu pork combo, which comes with a side of rice and macaroni salad. The portions are large with good flavors, looking forward to trying more menu items.
